After the lots that are left in Trailside are sold, the homes can be built on other locations in Mesquite.
Sounds like Ence Homes will be giving Sun City Mesquite some competition!

I wish we would have a builder here that would try that here. Instead they keep building these 4000 sqft homes that are amazing, but no one can afford them and then they just sit on the market.
Todd - These affordable homes will be built by Ence Homes, a very successful and respected builder here. Ence also has some mid range homes, and some high end homes with not much activity. This will put them in the competition with Sun City Mesquite.
not too many existing home owners are happy about this "new" series of homes. Bringing my home value down is not something I will take lightly. nor will my neighbors,
Homeowner - I understand that you are not happy about this new series from Ence. It took me completely by surprise. If you are thinking of selling in the near future, this is bad news for you. When Sun City Mesquite dropped their prices substantially in 2007, in response to slow sales, it immediately affected our market. They sold over 300 homes last year at the reduced prices. Most builders here dropped their prices shortly after, Ence was not as quick. If you live in Trailside, you own a high quality, beautifully built, energy efficient home in a very good neighborhood. I hope that you plan to live in your home for several more years and that the value in your home will withstand the downside of the market that we are experiencing right now.
