Another Mesquite MLS Listing Sold in Sunset Greens Gated Golfcourse Community - One of the nicest neighborhoods in Mesquite. It was a very well maintained, updated townhome in a great part of the subdivision, with great views. The sellers expected to sign a listing agreement for 6 months - I told them that if I couldn't sell it in 3 months, that we would need to have a little talk.
It closed escrow one week before the 3 month Mesquite MLS listing was up. Happy Sellers.
They priced the home to sell. I marketed it online using my Active Rain blog to focus on the amenities and features of Sunset Greens. I had already written about the neighborhood - in fact, that is where the owners found me. Google search.
And my blog was already in the first 5 spots for 'Sunset Greens Townhomes Mesquite NV'.
It only took a couple of tweaks and a Realbird show on my AR blog post about the home to be in the first results in Google searches for 'townhomes on the golfcourse in mesquite nv' - 'gated communities mesquite nv' - and related terms.
Active Rain is very powerful.

Jon - It did sell pretty quickly. Every where you look in Sunset Greens, nice scenery - it was easy to get some good shots with my little _____ camera. :)
Greg - most sales seem to be going to buyers wanting a home for retirement, or a second home, or a second home to be used for retirement later - lots of seniors buying here. Not too many move up buyers right now. I miss them. :)
