Mesquite has "enjoyed" a hot weather streak for about 4 months. Wednesday, I washed my car. It rained that evening. Thursday, I washed my dog - it rained as soon as I got him to the dog park. Now we are waiting for a storm to hit - I see it coming from the southeast, usually I can see Scenic Arizona from here.
Just wish it were a bigger storm to help put out some of the fires threatening folks in the southwest states.
And I am going to do a rain dance for my friends in the Black Forest area near Colorado Springs, CO - they are on fire watch. :(
