The Chinese buffet is always freshly cooked and full of different dishes from shrimp to pork with plenty of fresh vegetables - their hot and sour soup is my husband's favorite to begin his meal.
If I am working late or just too lazy to cook, I sometimes stop on my way home and get a couple of buffet dinners to go.
That is probably my husband's favorite home cooked meal.
Another plus with take out is that it is nice to be able to make a complete pig of myself in the privacy of my own home instead of embarassing myself in public!
My friend, Arlene and I like to stop for a quick lunch and a pot of hot tea. It never seems to end up a quick
lunch, though - I just might hold the record for the most trips back to the buffet.

Virginia - I love good Chines Cuisine. Back in my old hometown of Clarion, we had a really good place that we'd visit every Sunday. Then I moved to Raleigh, NC and then here to Allentown, Pa and had a tough time finding a place of similar appeal. Alas, I have though. And I know where to go for good Chinese if/when I come out to the Clark County area.
Virgina, the proverb is funny. Love Chinese food, but sometimes it is hard to find a good one. One day back in September, my wife and I were in the mood for egg rolls, so we picked all the chinese restaurants within a 2 mile radius of our house, and we dorve to them to try them all. We had tons of fun and ended up finding our fav. They were all different. So I undwerstand hainging on to one when you find it.

Jason, I am a true regular customer there, and if you ever are in Mesquite, I am definitely buying dinner.
Bo, I thought that was funny, too. The owner said that and I asked if Confucious said that - she said, no, her dad. And not all Chinese food tastes the same, I like the casual atmosphere and quick service, too. Actually, I can't remember ever getting slow service at any Chinese restaurant.

Virginia-I love Chinese food. I have a favorite restaurant here where I live too. It is China Buffet and the food is really great. A big variety on the buffet. The people are really nice too.
Laura, I love the variety of a buffet, I try little bits of everything and then go back a couple of times for my favorites. I am really embarrassing in public sometimes. :)

My husband and I used to live there in the little town off Mesquite called Bunkerville and we would go to Canton Chinese at least twice a week. The atmosphere in there is fantastic and it was great because Cindy always remembered our names and what we like to drink. Since than we have moved to Washingon but we are going to be going down in that direction and stop there for dinner. I would have to say my favorite thing there was the Chicken wings..I think it was called paper wrapped chicken. Never had anything so tasty. I'm glad someone spotlighted this place because its one of those little places thats really easy to miss if you don't know the area.
Stephanie - So you already know our secrets! Many newcomers to Mesquite do not know of the Canton Chinese Restaurant because it is hidden behind Burger King. But, like you and me, once they find it, they just keep going back. Isn't Cindy delightful?
