Virginia: the neighborhood and the homes look so great. Question: I have never seen a new or newer home that only has 850 sq ft. Tell me about that... is that typical for Mesquite, NV. Just curious. The first thing I thought of was that the smaller the home, the cheaper it was to air-condition it. Just curious here...
Great, now people won't really know where they live. If you just ran out and changed my community's name, I'd be really confused and wouldn't know where I lived.
The new entrance looks great. Take care Virginia.
Karen - It is the only one in there, and no, it is not typical at all. We have condos that small, but no newish homes at all. It is like one of those tiny texas houses. :) I will have to find out about it.
JL - Thanks, JL. I know what you mean - our office moved, I keep driving to the old one. Maybe they should put a stand by the entrance of the subdivision with little bags of bread crumbs for folks to use to find their way home.
Virginia, I'll bet Mesquite has grown since I drove through it on the way to Provo from Los Angeles. With all of the red rocks, and the beautiful scenery, and so close to St. George and Las Vegas, this has to be a great place to retire. ;-)
Hi Teri, yes, we planned to retire here later and then jumped the gun 4 years ago and decided to work our way into retirement and already be here. I love it when a plan comes together. It is a great place to live.

Michelle - I am doing really well and hope you are, too! We are the Relocation Twins, aren't we?
Hay Virginia! How is the weather there? I just want to know all my friends are warmer than I :)
So why does a group of people change the name of their subdivision? Isn't there a river nearby?
Just curious....
Hi April, yes we are all warmer than you guys! 76 today and sunny.
The Virgin River runs all along Mesquite. Hmm... Maybe that is where they got the idea. I think the HOA voted on it and decided it sounded good. Lotsa Joshua trees around here, too.
Hi, Virginia-
Joshua Ridge is a great name, and the area seems really nice too.
Terri - you know they have one of the prettiest parks, and that RV parking lot is a big plus.
