Conestoga Golf Course is located in Sun City Mesquite 55 plus community for Active Adults - a public course that is breathtaking and challenging. As my husband said when we played it - Conestoga is not an old man's golf course :) He thinks it will be as amazing as Wolf Creek Golfcourse. Residents of Sun City have exclusive use of the Pioneer Rec Center and VIP privileges - huge discounts on golf rates and the big bonus - preferred tee times! It is hard to get a good tee time in our busy winter season.

Conestoga Golfcourse in Sun City Mesquite Active Adult Community for 50 - 55 + residents

This is the perfect example of "the good life" offered in so many sun-belt communities.
Love that photo. I recommend golf carts.
Virginia:
That is an amazing setting for a golf course. It looks like you are playing in the Grand Canyon. I would not like to have to retrieve errant golf balls. But, what a view.
Virginia:
Great photo and post. What a lifestyle you sell here!
That is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lenn - golf carts are mandatory at all golf courses here - for some holes a helicopter would be handy -:)
Claudette - some of the guys are stubborn about retrieving errant balls, but they take a drop after a few holes - not as scary as the Mississippi golfcourses were - lurking alligators all over the place.
Aaron - that is exactly what people buy - the 55 + active adult amenities - I am very active, but it is not recreational -we were exhausted after playing this course - all Mesquite golfcourses are in the desert mountain terrain.
Pippa - It really is - Conestoga golfcourse will be giving our world renouned Wolf Creek a run for the money!
Virginia long time no speak. Just saw this post and realized your going to own a new neighborhood in town. Way to go! I want you to know I still use you as one of my examples in almost every class I teach. Pretty soon your going to own every neighborhood in Mesquite. I wish you and your talented daughter the best of luck. Thanks for proving that hyper local content reigns supreme in Google.
Awesome picture! If that's what retirements all about, I can't wait.
I dare not show this photo to my husband . . . on the other hand, we live in Chicago - why not!
Wow Virginia that is just a breaktaking view. I think it would be hard to concentrate playing golf!
Eric - you don't have to retire here to visit and play at Conestoga golfcourse.
Margaret - direct flights are available from Chicago to Las Vegas - come see us!
Bill - I took over 1000 pictures the first time on this golf course - not just for 55 plus players, either - it is a public course.
Steven - nice to see you here :) I want to own all of the gated golfcourse communities in Mesquite Nv - this is only the beginning of my evil plan to take over the world - starting right here.
Thanks for your help!!
Hey Virginia! I like your photo, haven't been around much to see the recent changes at AR. That golf course looks like it doesn't quite belong there....
April - nice to see you!!
The whole subdivision is carved into the desert - absolutely gorgeous. I am sure the lizards, etc, are enjoying the ponds and waterfalls at night on the Conestoga golfcourse - probably little creature parties going on :)
How did you get that amazing photo? I bet you had to hike to one of the mountains. Can't wait to pass through. One of my girlfriends and I were thinking about a night in Mesquite for a message package but it isn't working out with our schedules :(
Hi Renee - I don't hike. I was sitting in a golf cart while my husband and friends were golfing Conestoga for the first time - they were about to tee off to the green in the picture. I was just there for the pics - they thought I was going to be their caddy. Hmpff!!
