It's a desert out here but Hafen Park in Mesquite NV has more to offer than just a picnic area - we have fishing - real fish! And how do they get there? The city stocks the pond every month or so - trout in the winter and catfish in the warmer months. Mesquite has many parks, most are pet friendly all are kid friendly - I take my little poodle out to socialize at all of them. Mikey has a lot of friends in town.

I used to go fishing a lot but I never fished. I was the designated runner to the store for more beer, chips, and dips! LOL
