Virginia
Santa Theresa Estates sounds like it will be a great place to enjoy life.
Good luck and success.
Lou Ludwig
Virginia,
Looks like a nice subdivision. Hopefully you can help get the builders in Mesquite some build jobs!
Hi Virginia, as evidenced by your writeup, Mesquite is getting quite a few new developments going in your area. Good luck with Santa Theresa.
Lou - thanks, it is pretty over there, close to a lot of stuff - good luck to you, too.
Eric - this is affordable housing and qualifies for many different loans - we gotta get those guys working. :)
Gary - it is really picking up here, I have more new homes in escrow than resales, kind of unusual.
Virginia,
Nice homes, I like your pictures, as usual. Followed the link tothe estates, as there you have the prices. Good prices, by the way.
One day will go and see the desert...
Hi Virginia, There sure seems to be a lot of building and new developments in your area. With this kind of inventory and attractive pricing they will be standing in line. Those bright blue skies make a nice background for your photos. Most days, we have more of a monotone in the Seattle area .... gray.
Jon, still waiting for you to visit the desert - I will buy your first cold beer. Santa Theresa has some very nice homes under $200,000 and one of the few low priced new subdivisions to have big back yards.
Greg, there seems to be more interest in homes for sale in Mesquite with all of the talk about the new Desert Falls sports complex - that is a huge addition to Mesquite - the perfect place for a national sports competition venue with sunshine almost every day.
Virginia,
Cold beer... hmm... it is getting better and better. But even without a beer, it is interesting to get the idea of a desert.
Front yard desert landscaping? What is that? It looks like just dirt to me, LOL. But what a fabulous view!
Jon - Cold beer is what it will take to bribe you to come visit? How about in the spring when we have the beer pong tournaments - now that is a party! Funny thing, my daughter is 20 and is a star beer pong player - for about 2 years. I thought you had to be 21 to participate in that stuff. :)
Elizabeth - the mountain views all over Mesquite are amazing. Desert landscaping does sound of contradictory, doesn't it? You are right - it is dirt. With occasional rocks and a tree. And a few flowering bushes - all on a drip system, so you can ignore it. The new homes subdivisions here all have it. Who wants to do yard work when it is 115 degrees in the summer? :)
Virginia,
Are you enjoying a vacation? How else can I explain that you disappeared 10 days ago. We are missing cool Mesquite stuff. We may not even know that place if you would not have put it on the mao for us.
These look like great hoes and I love the view of the mountians. Its gorgeous!!
Jon, I have been very busy with some 'interesting' escrows - and yes, I did take a few days off - you missed me, didn't you?
Betina - Thank you, the single family homes and townhomes in Santa Theresa all have big backyards - those mountain top views are gorgeous, especially with the sun setting reflections when they have snow on them!
Virginia: Being a mountain lubber myself, I really like the mountains in the backdrop. Sounds like a wonderful place.
Hi Donna, it is a pretty new home subdivision - and the low HOA fees should appeal to lots of folks.
If I were interested in finding out about living in Santa Teresa, I'm sure I would have landed on your blog post when I started Googling! Looks like a very nice new development.
Very cool new sub in Mesquite! Thanks for showing me what is going on to the north!
Hi Janna, yes, you probably would have :) Santa Theresa is a really good value - nice to see a new homes subdivision with low hoa fees - thanks!
Renee - we are always up to something in this small Nevada town - just gotta get the word out!
I don't know if you'd heard yet - but Bob Stewart did an amazing presentation about your blog at Raincamp - he said you were one of the most amazing/successful bloggers on A/R and had nothing but Raves for you! :-)))
Liz - no, I did not know that - what a compliment! And sorry I missed your comment here long ago.
